better or worse, dentists are increasingly likely to face legal challenges
from dissatisfied patients these days and it's something that all dentists
should be aware of, and prepare themselves for. Naturally, mistakes are
made, just as with any profession, but equally you may find yourself in
a situation where you're being sued by a patient who isn't happy with the
treatment they've received, or the results, when in fact you've done nothing
wrong and acted in the best interests of your patient.
With over 5 years experience in the Medico-Legal field I can provide
advice and assistance on Medical Legal issues, from courses introducing
you to the issues that you need to be aware of, to support with legal
proceedings. For example, I am frequently asked to give my opinion as
an expert witness in legal cases, both for the Defence and the Prosecution,
and I've written somewhere in the region of 30 Expert Reports for various
litigation cases. I also have a close working relationship with Medical
Legal Solicitors and Defence Unions.
Because I am, first and foremost, an oral surgeon
and an implant specialist, I can offer you
